Pondering Goodbye’s

Today I found out a co-worker is leaving. Today is their last day so I did what is normal, I bought a card. There wasn’t very many to choose from so I got a blank card with a cute lady bug on the front. Now that I had the card I needed so say something. I, of course, turned to the internet for suggestions and came across many that were very touching and not what I was looking for. This was one I found and felt the desire to share

“Distance of time and place generally cure what they seem to aggravate; and taking leave of our friends resembles taking leave of the world, of which it has been said, that it is not death, but dying, which is terrible.”  ~Henry Fielding
