As a child I always wondered why my mother didn’t have close friends that she kept in touch with from high school and college. Family members, especially my grandmothers, were the core correspondants. It seems that my life has gotten to that point or relatively close to it. Time changes everyone in unexpected ways…time and distance are not kind to the fun carefree relationships of youth. Jobs and family life take over time previously spent with bestfriends and boyfriends. Now I sit and wonder how it happened yet I already know how and why the seperation happened even though the outcome makes me sad at times. I love my life but can’t help missing friends that are living their lives seperate from mine. And the friends who didn’t make it here.
